About

A small practice for messy event paths

SysData Stream grew out of repeated war rooms where teams owned pieces of a streaming path but nobody owned the whole story. We exist to make that story legible — and to leave detection gaps named, not vague.

Where we work from

Our office sits in Yeongtong-gu, Suwon — close enough to Seoul for on-site sessions across Gyeonggi, far enough from downtown noise to keep assessment weeks focused. Remote stakeholders join the mapping and briefing sessions that matter; we do not insist on theatrical all-day video marathons.

Engagements stay deliberately finite. When the assessment ends, ownership returns to your teams. We will return for tuning or a retrospective when you ask — not because a retainer auto-renewed in the background.

How we approach the work

  • Map before measuring. Charts without a shared path diagram produce arguments, not decisions.
  • Prefer named event types. “The stream” is too vague; order confirms, inventory deltas, and session heartbeats are not.
  • Write for the next incident. Findings should help the person who gets paged at night, not only the slide deck.
  • Respect access limits. Some environments stay closed; we say so and shrink scope instead of inventing visibility.

Who you will meet

Engagements are led by practitioners who have spent years sitting with operations and application teams during lag spikes, quiet drops, and messy cutovers. We bring facilitation skill and event-flow craft — not a branded methodology binder.

When a project needs a specialist voice (for example a particular broker family your team already runs), we say so early and either bring a known collaborator or recommend you keep that expertise in-house.
